On our 12th day of quarantine in Canada I heard the Holy Spirit whisper this song in my ear and I was undone as I listened to this clip. Waves of His mercy, grace and love washed over me. Holy Spirit was saying there is nothing you can do to earn my love Just recieve Father’s love for you. All our dead works will just be burnt up without His presence and His Holy Spirit working through us.
“6 Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death,[a] and of faith in God, 2 instruction about cleansing rites,[b] the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. 3 And God permitting, we will do so.” Hebrews 6:11
When we come into the rest of God, we come into a place of maturity in Him. We realize that He fights our battles through us as we surrender to Him completely. We can completely trust our Father! He is so good. We have been out of quarantine since Saturday August 6. We have been really recieving a revelation of the Father and how we can’t earn His love. He loves us like the prodigal son who completely messed up. The prodigal son did not have to earn the Father’s love in order to be accepted. It was right there and he came running into his Father’s arms. The Father just recieved Him back with such joy and love! He prepared the fattened calf just for him immediately! Daddy God said to me run into my arms you can trust me.

The Parable of the Lost Son
11 Jesus continued: “There was a man who had two sons.(A) 12 The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’(B) So he divided his property(C) between them.
13 “Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth(D) in wild living. 14 After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need. 15 So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs.(E) 16 He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything.
17 “When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! 18 I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned(F) against heaven and against you. 19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.’ 20 So he got up and went to his father.
“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.(G)
21 “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you.(H) I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe(I) and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger(J) and sandals on his feet. 23 Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. 24 For this son of mine was dead and is alive again;(K) he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.(L)”
We can really trust our Father! He is so kind and loving. Growing up I always some how felt I have to earn the Father’s love. No there is nothing I have to do to earn it. I just need to ask and then recieve like a little child. We have been experiencing this truth in reality as we came to Canada and asked Daddy God for provision, He provided just like that. He loves us even when we don’t deserve it. He provided a job, a place to quarantine, an airbnb which we now are in while we believe God for our own place. We didn’t have groceries and they came unexpectedly Friends from Catch the Fire Ottwa came with meals and financial help. We were again undone by Father’s love. He has been so faithful and I know we do not deserve this. We are not perfect at all and have made mistakes yet He loves us perfectly. I can not wrap my mind around it.
It is His love that changes and renews us! All glory to God. He comes to save, heal and deliver us as we reach out to Him. The prodigal son just had to choose to reach out to his father and recieve His Father’s love. Today we need to just choose who we are going to serve either ourself by thinking we have to earn His love or Christ Jesus who paid the price on the cross with his blood that we can just freely repent for sin of unbelief, ask and recieve the Father’s pure love from heaven.
Today I urge you get in a quiet place, just like a little child take some time to repent for unbelief if needed and ask Father to fill you with His Holy Spirit, love and power. He longs to and wants to fill you with His presence.
