Syracuse, Ogdensburg, Cicero, Brewerton NY to Ottawa, Canada 🇨🇦 ♥️

It has been a fun and exciting past couple of weeks in upper New York. We were just about to cross the boarder into Canada  into Ottawa when we were asked to return to the USA because of some pending paperwork. At first I felt frustrated but then I remembered a wise word of wisdom, “Everything is Father filtered,” even the things that seem like a delay.

This verse seems to best sum up the word- “Everything is Father filtered.”

We ended up staying for about a week in Ogdensburg praying and asking God for direction as we did not know how long it would take for them to process my Canadian residency card. I felt to reach out to dear Eastern college friends of mine Alex and Gloria. Little did we know they were so close in Cicero, NY. This was a divine appointment to pray and worship together.

It was good to go down memory lane remembering my first CD they helped me to produce called “Stepping out.” I went to England as a missionary and this project helped support that mission trip. Little did I know this would be a life theme of “Stepping out!”. It was so refreshing to have fellowship after a week of being in a town where we knew no one.

It was good to encourage each other in the Lord. They were so gracious to host us for a couple of days. We had some lovely meals together which was such a blessing!

Some pictures of our time together and an inspiring word Gloria gave us!

We felt loved, blessed and prayed for. Father God really loves us. I began to dwell on this revelation as I dwelt on the amazing provision He provided. We did what we could do with the Tech work Anthony does and the Lord met us. We are by far from perfect but we have a perfect Father who loves us and sent His Son’s Life to dwell in us Christ Jesus! The word says when we surrender our hearts to Him He comes and takes up residence in us! Christ in us the hope of glory. (1 Colossians 1:27) No matter the storm He will take care of His Sons and daughters not because we deserve it but because of His grace, love and mercy for us.

I have some more copies of these for sale!

Below is from my Oswald Chambers Devotion “Peace, Life in the Spirit.” This devotion reminded me that in knowing Him we enter into His peace and perfect love which cast out ALL Fear! When fear goes we move and do things that are aligned in Him and it is total rest and peace as we obey His voice. When we really get to know Him our hearts get in alignment with His heart. This means that we find out what Daddy God loves and cares about. He really cares about us having a pure heart full of His love ❤️.

“When by the discipline of His Divine guidance, we know Him, and He going with us gives us Rest, then Time and Eternity are merged and lost in that amazing vital relationship. The union is one not of mystic contemplation, but of intense perfection of activity, not the Rest of the placid peace of stagnation, but the Rest of perfect motion.

The human soul is so mysterious that in the moment of a great tragedy men get face to face with things they never gave heed to before. In times of peace, how many of us bother one iota about the state of men’s hearts toward God? Yet these are the things that produce pain in the heart of God, not the wars and the devastation that so upset us.

Reflection Questions: How is the “rest of perfect motion” different from the “peace of stagnation”? In what ways is social and political peace the enemy of peace with God?”

A couple days later after being with our friends we recieved our papers we needed to cross the boarder! The Lord is so good! We crossed the boarder into Ottawa where we are now quarantined for the next 14 days. We are having lots of peace and divine appointments as we reach out to people on the phone. We are grateful for all the prayers and financial support that those have given to us in this season of transition/ stepping out! We love and bless you all! Thank you!
