We are coming into the new year of 2020 and the Lord is speaking to me about freedom from fear. He wants to deliver us from a spirit of fear. I realized that in my own life what holds me back from walking in the fullness of God is fear. Fear is the oppsite of who God is. God is Perfect Love!

1 John 4:18 New International Version (NIV)

“¹⁸ There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” When we see how much He loves us He gives us strength to say no to the enemy of our soul! Fear keeps people from self discipline and power to say no to the enemy. We must see and understand the battle that we are in daily.

Ephesians 6:12 King James Version (KJV)

“¹² For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” This is a real battle that we are in! We need to fight by surrendering to Daddy God’s arms of love and let Him fight for us!
