We were honored to minister at Hope of Glory Church in praise and worship!

This small congregation touched my heart deeply! Although they seemed small in number, their impact for the Kingdom is mighty.
Pastor Thretha brought a timely word to the body of Christ that we must believe God and be the man or woman of God we have been called to be in the Kingdom! When we just obey God and the call he has told us to do, he will do the rest!! When we just surrender as those vessels for God, he will make the impossible possible!

The Lord has been showing me many times we feel that the Lord has called us to do something but often times we don’t believe. We are just waiting until someone approves of us or believes in us. The Lord wants to heal this perspective of an orphan that has been planted in our hearts from the beginning of man when Adam and Eve ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Genesis 3 (NIV)
The Fall
3 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”
2 The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”
4 “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. 5 “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.
8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hidfrom the Lord God among the trees of the garden. 9 But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”
10 He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”
I call this the wound of separation from the Father’s love. Before Adam and Eve ate from the tree that was forbidden by God, they were totally happy, content and walking in the perfect love of God! But once they got tempted by the pride of life, that says you can be like God and have everything you need without him, they ate the apple and were afraid! The word of God says that perfect love cast out all fear! So when we are made perfect in God’s love by accepting Christ finished work on the cross, this wound of separation from the Father is healed! We must totally receive his heart of forgiveness and surrender our all too him as Lord and Savior. Many of us never come to the place of making Christ Lord of our hearts, that means we more then just believe in him or have faith in him, we no longer live but Christ lives in us. Galatians 2:20. It’s in the complete surrender that he comes to take up residence in our hearts! It’s in the complete surrender that this wound of separation from the Father is healed and that sonship with the Father is restored!! Romans 8: 12-16 says that we are children of God when we choose to surrender and walk in His Spirit!
“Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation—but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. 13 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.
14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. 15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.f]” style=”font-size: 0.625em; line-height: 22px; vertical-align: top;”>[f]” style=”font-size: 0.625em; line-height: 22px; vertical-align: top;”>ff]” style=”font-size: 0.625em; line-height: 22px; vertical-align: top;”>] And by him we cry, “Abba,g]” style=”font-size: 0.625em; line-height: 22px; vertical-align: top;”>[g]” style=”font-size: 0.625em; line-height: 22px; vertical-align: top;”>gg]” style=”font-size: 0.625em; line-height: 22px; vertical-align: top;”>] Father.”AG)” style=”font-size: 0.625em; line-height: 22px; vertical-align: top;”>16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.” When we are made perfect in his love then we will feel comfortable to just be his vessels and won’t need the approval of man to step out in faith to obey God.
