Are we discerning the Lord’s body?
We are a part of the body of Christ.
I believe more then ever Jesus Christ in the midst of this crisis is calling us to come into Jesus Christ into King Jesus our Lord! There is a perfect love that cast out ALL FEAR! What is the price to truly know God and commune with Him from a pure heart? When we take communion it is not just the physical vertical act of breaking of the bread (His Body) and drinking of the wine- ( His Blood). It is much more! It is also the horizontal act of us as the body of Christ breaking our hearts open with each other and seeing Jesus in each other, allowing the pure love of Abba Father to flow from our eyes as tears of pure love flow for one another.
Allowing true confession and repentance to flow openly as we run into the beauty of His holiness by walking in the light with one another.
Psalm 96:9 King James Version (KJV)
“9 O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.”
We need to allow Jesus Christ to truly love us and to truly flow from us with such compassion. No judgements of one another. He is bridegroom judge, but first He is bridegroom lamb. His perfect judgement is mercy. He is first concerned with loving us and us recieving His perfect Love. His pure perfect love will bring such a holy desire and pure fear of God with no ungodly anger. Ungodly anger wants to set the person in sin “right!” It is unclean and brings condemnation/oppression. Behind that ungodly anger is a religious cursing spirit. It is not a pure love even though it may be correct.
Truth that is not coming from a pure love of the Father, is religious and pharisaical.
Jesus Christ is primarily concerned with the inward attitude of our hearts. When the attitude of our heart is correct- everything else on the outward will line up. This is how we seek first the kingdom of God- and ALL these things shall be added unto you!
Matthew 6:33 English Standard Version (ESV)
“33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
It’s the family of God. It is the heart of humility that goes low and lays His life down for His brother and sister no matter what. It is a love that speaks the truth in love with no judgements, ulterior motives or selfish ambition.
It’s a place of living in the Spirit. This love can not be expressed with our own human love. It is a supernatural love that only comes from the Holy Spirit that perfectly covers a multitude of sin.
1 Peter 4:8 New International Version (NIV)
“8 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.”
New International Version (NIV)
We can’t earn it and we don’t deserve it. It is Jesus- He is Love! It is a love that exposes our pride of religion- a form of godliness that denies the power of God. We all have pride in our flesh. Romans 7:18.
Luke 9:23 King James Version (KJV)
“23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.”
Matthew 11:29-30 King James Version (KJV)
“29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
That is why we need to take up our cross daily and follow Him. He said for He is meek and lowly in heart.
We must drink the pure blood of the Lamb’s heart as we allow ourselves to literally be poured out for one another in worship to our king.
As I see Jesus in my brother and sister’s eyes and I allow the reality of Christ’s heart to love them just where they are at with no compromise, we are drinking the blood. Life is in the blood.
This is where there is much sickness in the body of Christ because we are not truly discerning the Body of Christ and seeing Jesus in that Brother and sister who maybe struggling. We are not covering them to wholeness- they need to know they were designed to overcome! There is no failure in Christ. When people know that they are safe, secure and loved by the Father just because they are alive this love will heal them to wholeness! It is His kindness that leads us to repentance.
“Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?” Romans 2:4
When I allow the reality of my heart to be broken open before my brother and sister in Christ who is a part of His body, we are “breaking bread”. When I truly am real with what is in my heart and then come into the reality of Christ’s heart- which is the heart of the Father who loves us perfectly, there is no fear of rejection. He will love perfectly through me.
We are accepted in the Beloved! Our sin is not accepted, but who we are as a child, image bearer of God, is. We need to always believe for each other and never give up believing for each other to live a life full of Christ in victory!
John 10:10 (NIV)
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
Beloved this is true communion. It is where we have allowed the life of Christ to so permeate our very beings and our eyes can see one another how He sees. We commune personally with our Lord Jesus Christ and then that communion pours out to ALL around us. Christ longs to be connected with His body.
It is time for true communion. Will you be that one who decides I want to be a vessel for God’s pure heart? I want to see His pure love breakdown barriers in His Body and truly discern His body seeing Jesus in each other. It’s time to have true communion. It’s time to have a heart of fire- Jesus Christ’s very heart!
