What does it mean to be steadfast? It means that my whole heart is surrendered to the Lord in holiness. Holiness means set apart. It means I choose to surrender my heart daily to the Lord. It means he gets my heart first and I choose through an act of my will to make Him Lord of my heart! That means if he wants me to keep my schedule clear and lay down all relationships and activities for a season of absolute devotion to Him I am able. I position myself to be still and quiet so Holy Spirit can truly lead.

If my heart is tied up in idols, fears, and selfishness which is all sin, He will not be living through me. Today Lord I choose to humble my heart to make you first and foremost! I surrender my time to you so I may be free to truly praise and worship you!! Come be the Lord of my heart, family, and friends.
