It has been a blessing catching up with family in Maryland this weekend! Anthony blessed me and we made a surprise visit to see my mama. The Lord was all over it and His peace.
My Mom was so surprised as her little grandson came walking into the kitchen. She had no clue! This really made her night.
On Mother’s Day Pastor Paul Black from Cornerstone in Maryland shared a good word about honoring our mother and Father and things will go well for you. He spoke about honor “that it does not mean we always have to agree with them” but – honor means to love and value no matter our imperfections. It looks past our imperfections to see Christ! To love and speak out the destiny of heaven for an indiviual. “It does not mean we allow others to manipulate us and decieve us-” but we can speak the truth in love and still have a different opinion but still value – bless that person for who they are created to be in Christ! This is not word for word but the basic summary of the message. In the case of Mothers Day we can come into ageement with the good qualties of our Mothers- the main one she birthed us and of course she has many more! I love and appreciate my Mom so much. This mother’s day weekend has turned out to be a nice visit. We got to spend some quality time with my precious sister Elizabeth who is Emma’s mom and known as Aunt Lizzy!
Alexander and I enjoyed a nice evening walk with Emma- Alexander’s cousin. Emma is showing off her new fabulous bike!

We also hung out with Uncle Dave, good friends Corey and Christy, Nick and Mya and Paul Lim for a fun night and game of Cantan which I learned for the first time. There was even a fun trophy for the winner. These guys are serious Catan players!
We stayed a couple of extra days to support a friend Jeanni Ellis and a precious family who on Mother’s Day lost there loved one- Don Ellis. We were all so shocked because that morning many of us had just greeted him with a hug or a hand shake not realizing that would be the last time on earth we would see this dear father and brother of the faith!
Durning the week before the memorial service that was on Sunday May 19 Alexander and I had some more divine appointments with some dear friends I hadn’t seen since child hood! I joined Christy Frey and her daughter Finely at the Middletown Park with Alexander to be surprised to meet a childhood friend from the days of my youth- Nicole (Fox) Mullendore! It was fun to see her grown with her two boys that Alexander had fun playing with. Alexander of course could only could only play with Sebastian since Juilan was only 5 months!
He just woke up from his nap so he wasn’t too alert! Alexander with Sebastian Mullendore and Finely Frey.
