Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.

How do I guard my heart? This is a good question. I believe that as we choose to take every thought captive in every circumstance, and relationship only accepting thoughts of the love of God for each other and circumstances the Holy Spirit covers our heart! Recieving the agape love of God and rejecting ALL other thoughts that are not agape love is our choice. We do not have to recieve the offense, and demonic activity that comes from moving in the flesh. We must choose His thoughts and rise above through the Holy Spirit to move in His Spirit which is slow to anger rich in love!
Psalm 145:8 King James Version (KJV)
“8 The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.“
If I have His love, I am rich! His love covers, dosen’t excuse it, but covers a multitude of sin! That means even though my brother or my sister may have hurt me or offended, I can still love them even in their sin by blessing them asking for mercy for them and walking in continual repentance for offense asking God for His heart. I believe this is a maturity test that every brother and sister must go through. I believe God allows these trials and tests in our lives to give us the opportunity to choose life or death! We may have to walk through the same test a million times it seems before we pass. How do I know when I pass the offense test? The repeated spirit of offense in your life will be broken. The opportunity to be offended will arise but your heart will be guarded with the pure love of God as you reject the fleshly desire to be right. It is not about being right but about being so in love! We must choose to move in the opposite spirit. Help me Lord for I am unable to do this! Thank you for your joy that gives me the strength to love perfectly!
