Happy Anniversary!

Today as we fly to Prince George from Richmond, BC we celebrate our 2nd Anniversary! Many feelings of joy and love flood our hearts as Anthony and I remember the day of our wedding! All glory to God, He has established us and sustained us in His love.

As we have been traveling the creative flow of the Holy Spirit has been giving me so much joy! Can you see the swan, roses and the heart?

I hear Him saying never let natural limitations or circumstances determine your joy. We have the Holy Spirit and His creativity is unlimited! We must see everything how He sees it. He is a gift and allows us to see and value ALL things. With faith in Jesus He allows us to believe and see with eyes of faith!

I know it may seem funny, but we can create inspirations of art that come from Him! He can give us creative ideas. We can look at an airplane napkin and say that is a rose! We can look at the cremer cup and say that is a vase! We can use the left over coffee stirrers, and form a heart! We can take the left over wrapper of the snack and form it into a swan!

For my husband and I, all these creations represent important memories that formed our relationship. Swans mate for life and during our dating and engagement we saw swans where ever we went! They spoke confirmation to us that we were going in the right direction. The first swan we saw was a real live swan from Canada whose name was Harvey. He just so happened to be outside my sister Heather’s home hanging out on the beautiful lake that is right in her backyard! We would have fun watching Harvey and then seeing the Canadian swan’s name pop up in different places.

As we walked along the trail of the river, in my mind I thought, “A swan! Swans mate for life.” Just then Anthony said outloud, “That Swan looks like it needs to find his partner.” I just grinned thinking about that and couldn’t help to think about the coincidence of the situation.

A month later after that long walk along the lake and a life changing God trip to Canada, two swans found each other! My swan prince Anthony Chartrand proposed to me on January
13, 2017 and I said “Yes!”

To Catherine, Happy Anniversary Babe! Love, Anthony
