When we are walking as the true ecclesia, there is a pure love of truth and fruit of Holy Spirit flowing. I thought the below definition of the ecclesia was interesting.
“Where does the word church come from ecclesia?
The oldest word for church, the word that St. Paul himself used, is the Greek word “ecclesia,” from which we get the terms “ecclesial” and “ecclesiastical.” The word was in use centuries before the Christian church appeared on the scene.”
We need to know who we are and be submitted in love to the local body of Christ that is really walking in truth. This submission is not just an outward action but it is a heart posture of love that we have for the Authority that God has put into place and a heart of humility for the lay people. When we are walking in true alignment in Christ Jesus we will be in alightment with His body, Faith working in love. I could be submitted on the outside but inside my heart could be a mess and not in love toward the body of Christ. Holy Spirit please heal my heart, of all Church wounds offenses and cause my heart to truly love the local Church believing for revival!
